These two barn conversions, Cornfield View (ref UKC3892) and Woodland View (ref UKC3893), are ideally placed on the owner’s working farm in Wigginton in a rural location just outside the market town of Tamworth. These spacious properties are great for friends and family to catch up and get together for a break and to visit the many attractions close by. Enjoy cosy nights in front of the wood burner or make the most of the large enclosed garden for outdoor games and the large patio for eating al fresco or taking in the evening sun. Woodland View also has the benefit of a bubbling hot tub to relax in after a day’s sightseeing. The beautiful countryside views can be enjoyed both from the living room and dining area with bi-folding doors bringing the outside in from the garden and patio area. There are many walks that can be enjoyed from the property and further afield with the National Forest approximately 9 miles away.
The village of Wigginton is ½ mile away which boasts a village pub.
Another beautiful village close by is Harlaston which lies within a conservation area and has a cosy village pub serving home cooked food and a post office. Tamworth, located just over 2 miles away, has a lot to offer including a SnowDome for skiing, snowboarding and ice skating, also Tamworth Castle where you see 900 years of history from the Saxons, Normans, Tudors and Victorians and shopping at the retails parks. Take an exhilarating trip to Drayton Manor Theme Park, 5 miles, or have a memorable day at the National Memorial Arboretum, 5½ miles, the centre of Remembrance. Also within easy driving distance is Twycross Zoo, 11 miles, the National Trust properties of Calke Abbey, Sudbury Hall, Shugborough Estate and Letocetum Roman Baths and Museum, Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park and Conkers Discovery Centre.
The vibrant and historic city of Lichfield is under 10 miles away and offers an array of museums, independent shops, restaurants and the historic cathedral. Burton Upon Trent, famous for its brewing heritage is 13 miles away. The NEC, Alton Towers and Cannock Chase with its high ropes course is within easy travelling distance.
