Don’t forget to pack your walking boots as Malvern Spa is just 7 miles up the road with its picturesque walks over the Malvern Hills and many bohemian independent shops. The cathedral city of Gloucester is just a short drive in the other direction, with its Victorian docks and designer retail outlet. For some thrill seeking adventures head to the Forest of Dean with its cycle tracks and high rope adventures. Canoeing is within 30 minutes too with the glorious Symonds Yat on the River Wye.
