Set in the small village of Spittal with direct access onto Spittal promenade and long sandy beaches, children’s play area and splash park. This contemporary ground floor apartment provides a very comfortable retreat whatever the season with fantastic views from the floor to ceiling picture window in the living room ideal for watching dolphins and bird life. There is a sheltered lawned garden with patio furniture to the rear of the property. You can catch the local bus, 20 yards from the rear of the property, to local supermarkets, train station and the historic Elizabethan walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed offering pubs, restaurants, fascinating historical sites and the Lowry trail. The railway station makes the cities of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Edinburgh a mere 45 minutes away. The Northumberland coast offers amazing places to visit - cross the causeway to Holy island or take a boat trip from the fishing village of Seahouses to the Farne islands. Bamburgh Castle and the famous Alnwick castle and gardens are easy to access. Promenade café 500 yards. Shop and pub 530 yards, restaurant ½ mile.
