Congratulations to the owner on this wonderful cottage set in idyllic surroundings. The cottage can only be described as first class in every way. The owners have though of everything you could possible need. The quality of the bedding just says it all. They have gone to great expense to create a truly amazing retreat. Hope we can return in the future.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, quiet location. Beautifully decorated and really homely. TV was a bit hit and miss but that didn't spoil our holiday. Loved Northumbria and we will definitely be back

Lovely, well appointed, comfortable and tasteful. Appreciated the very generous welcome pack of bread, milk, juice, eggs and critically, Prosecco. Great paddock to exercise dog. Only downside was lack of private space to sit out in the sun. But still a very pleasant stay and strongly recommended.

Beautiful cottage hidden away in the countryside. We had an amazing 5 day break there and would definitely come back again. Lots to see within a short drive and the owners were lovely. Highly recommended!

Great cottage, we couldn't get the log burner going and even when the owner lit it for us it soon went out. Some kindling is required not just paper. Better signage would be useful, if you arrive from wrong direction it is easily missed.Just minor things, and we wouldn't have needed log burner if there hadn't been a power cut for several hours
