With views at the rear of this delightful property towards the harbour and the town square, this comfortable, terraced holiday home is a great base for a small family or couples. The property was lovingly re-furnished in 2021 to offer bright and contemporary holiday accommodation, with the living room, dining room and bunk bedroom being refurbished ahd the house has been refreshed, including a new Smart TV and wall-mounted reading lights in the bunk bedroom. Harbour Walk is set close to the town centre and harbour in this popular, family friendly seaside town. The shops, tea rooms and highly acclaimed ice cream parlour are all nearby so you can leave your car behind and stroll to one of the little fish restaurant’s near the harbour.
Amble has a thriving and popular Sunday morning market, popular with locals and visitors. From the harbour you can take a Puffin Boat trip over to Coquet Island to see the RSPB bird sanctuary.
The pretty village of Warkworth with its hillside castle and selection of cafés and pubs, and a couple of bespoke small shops, is around a 1½ mile walk, but parking is free in this pretty village. A few miles further takes you to Alnwick with the Dukes Castle which was featured in Downton Abbey and used as part of Hogwarts in Harry Potter.
The Duchess’ water gardens with the spectacular grand cascade and the world’s largest treehouse restaurant should not be missed. Amble is set on the edge of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage Coastline, with miles of golden beaches and unspoilt coastline with plenty of cycle routes and footpaths. The property is ideally located for exploring the whole of this friendly county with everything you need already on your doorstep.
