The lodge is only a few miles from Felton with an award winning deli-style café and a village pub.

Nearby Morpeth is a pretty, historic market town with an abundance of cafés, shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from and has pretty river walks and rowing boats for hire. Head north a little way and you will come to Alnwick, home of the Duke of Northumberland who resides in the majestic castle. Step back in time for a wonderful day trip and see the castle where some Harry Potter and Downton Abbey scenes were filmed.
The breathtaking coast of Northumberland is nearby with miles of golden unspoilt beaches peppered withcastles, ruins and historic sites.
