Wansfell Loft is a stylish, bright and airy apartment that offers loads of space for all and is ideal for extended families, walkers or simply friends just wishing to get away and catch up with each other. The accommodation is set over two floors. A large living room has ample seating for all on three comfy sofas, the large windows fill the room with light and look towards Wansfell Pike, for those cooler evenings a gas wood burner adds warmth and comfort to the room. From the hallway, a small staircase leads up to the open plan kitchen and dining area, here meal times can be enjoyed around the large dining table, whilst the well-equipped kitchen has more than enough space to cook up that hearty meal and views can be enjoyed looking across to Loughrigg and the surrounding fells.

For a good nights sleep, there are three sumptuous beds awaiting, a double to the first floor, and a further double and single to the second floor, each bedroom has private en-suite facilities to wake up and revive for the day ahead. Outside there is a private allocated parking space for one car.
Wansfell Loft is centrally located to the popular town centre of Ambleside, a short level walk, and you are amongst an abundance of shop, cafés and restaurants. There are many excellent places to eat right on your doorstep in Ambleside. There are numerous ways to easily get around, there is a regular bus service through the central lakes, including the popular open top buses that prove popular during the summer months.

Just a 10-minute walk and you are at Waterhead, here you can catch one of the Windermere Cruises, a relaxing way to take in the stunning scenery surrounding Lake Windermere. For walkers, there are many routes to be found right from the front door step, Wansfell Pike is steep but the views from the top are simply stunning, Loughrigg Fell and Stockghyll waterfalls are a little gentler on the legs. Be sure to take a picture of the iconic 17th century Bridge House, found along the road heading out to Rydal, or further afield discover the beautiful village of Grasmere, once the home to poet William Wordsworth.
