Beautifully furnished throughout, the open plan living/kitchen/dining area is fantastic with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden to the rear, and to open farmland where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity before you embark on your day’s adventures.
Return to this idyllic location at the end of the day and enjoy the hot tub gazing up to the dark night skies.
Situated only 4 miles from the historic town of Cockermouth where you will find a good range of shops and restaurants, Cockermouth is also home to Wordsworth’s House and Garden, the birthplace and childhood home of poet William Wordsworth and certainly worth a visit. The ever-popular town of Keswick, renowned for its spectacular setting, is only 12 miles away where you can stroll along the banks of the River Derwent or enjoy a meander through the town centre with its many little niche shops.
No visit to the Lake District National Park however is complete without walking, whether it be forest walks, a stunning lakeside meander or rugged mountainous climbing. Or perhaps you would prefer a visit to The Lakes Distillery offering tasting tours with locally produced gin, whisky and vodka. Beach 9 mile
