Situated down a quiet country lane in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, Saswick Cottage offers a home away from home for families and friends. This beautiful semi-detached cottage has gorgeous views from every room. Set amongst, green grass meadows you’ll see an array of wildlife including hares and deer, if you’re lucky you may even get to pat one of the donkeys that often graze in the field just behind the garden. Enjoy relaxing on the terrace with a good book and soak up the sun with your favourite glass of wine on the outdoor sofas then stoke up the fire pit in the evening while you gaze at the stars in the sky above. If the weather isn’t so great, you’ll love cosying up by the wood burner in the living room, or why not show off your skills on the pool table?
The open plan kitchen and dining room is the real heart of this holiday home, the country kitchen complete with range cooker has everything you need to rustle up a tasty meal and the patio doors leading out on to the terrace makes it ideal for al-fresco dining.

Upstairs, there are three great sized double bedrooms, a family bathroom and a fourth bedroom with bunkbeds which is perfect for the kids!
Located in Roseacre, a small village between the Trough of Bowland and Fylde Coast, Saswick Cottage is wonderfully located with so much to see and do nearby. There are lots of public footpaths, some of which are right from the front door, which take you across the fields and through the stunning Lancashire countryside. Cyclists will love the winding country lanes that snake through the landscape and the garage is a great, place to store your bikes when you’re done. Saswick House Farm Shop is just a couple of minutes’ walk away and has everything you’ll need for your stay including a delicious deli selling local produce, general store and tea rooms. The village of Elswick is just a mile away with an ice cream parlour, café, newsagents, general store an two great pubs selling locally brewed ales and tasty meals. The Fylde Coast can be reached within a 15 minute drive.

Lytham boasts a variety of bars, cafés, boutique shops and restaurants making it ideal for families and couples alike. The area offers a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities including boating, walking, cycling and bowling.
For those who love golf, Lytham St Annes is internationally famous for its four championship golf courses. The town also hosts various events throughout the year including the Lytham Proms which takes place every August, whilst the popular kite festival is held on the beach at St Annes. Blackpool is another great day out, it’s many attractions include the famous tower, Madame Tussauds Waxworks, Sealife Centre, Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Zoo. Saswick Cottage is also close to the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, loved for its stunning scenery, picturesque villages and friendly local pubs. The M55 can be easily reached giving great links to the Lake District, Ribble Valley and Yorkshire Dales.
