This beautifully converted former barn sits amongst a picturesque rural landscape in the northern part of Cumbria. The stunning bright living space with high ceiling has large glass doors allowing the natural light to flood the room, and boasts stunning fell views. The wood burner is perfect to cosy up together in front of on a cold evening, or soak away your worries and spend time relaxing in your own hot tub.

Whatever you choose, you will find it hard to pull yourself away from this perfect retreat.
The open plan design includes a kitchen and dining area, but should you decide to eat out, the nearby village inn offers home cooked meals, real ales and a welcoming atmosphere. A sumptuous superking sized bed will provide a good night’s sleep, with an en-suite shower room to complete the picture. The surrounding area is mostly working farmland, but the views of neighbouring Lake District means you are just a short drive away from the stunning National Park.

Just a few miles south of the Scottish Border, and close to the Solway Coast and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you will find many sites of interest ranging from Roman and Monastic history to a fantastic array of wildlife. Another short drive and you are in the historic city of Carlisle, with plenty to see and do including the castle, Tullie House Museum and a whole host of shops, cafés and restaurants. Beach 17 miles.
