The beautiful interior design and contemporary colour scheme is very appealing and the open plan living room, dining room and kitchen comes well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. With a gas oven and hob and microwave you can cook up a feast after a day of adventure then relax on the comfortable sofas in front of the TV. The main bedroom features a kingsize bed and storage for your belongings and an en-suite toilet. Outside there is a decked area and an outdoor seating area to soak up the sunshine which makes the perfect spot for your morning coffee.
Brigham Holiday Park is well maintained and it is a peaceful park offering an excellent base to explore the Northern Lakes and the west coast of Cumbria. It is only a 25 minute drive from Keswick and a mile away from Great Broughton with five pubs and a village shop. There’s easy access to fantastic walks, beautiful scenery and picturesque landscapes as well as being just a few miles from the vibrant market town of Cockermouth with an abundance of speciality shops, coffee houses, restaurants and attractions. Visit Wordsworth House for a spot of culture, or maybe Jennings Brewery beneath the castle walls, offering tasting tours. Kirkgate Arts provides a cinema and theatre performances.
If you love the Lakes you’re in easy reach of Bassenthwaite Lake with stunning scenery and an abundance of wildlife including red squirrels, buzzards and osprey.
Heading south there’s Loweswater which connects to Crummock Water and Buttermere, arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Cumbria for breath-taking scenery. Whether you’re looking for rugged adventure or just a peaceful walk taking in the flora and fauna, you have a beautiful area to explore. If you’re looking for family fun, a great day out can be had at The Lake District Wildlife Park with over 100 species of animals at Bassenthwaite, 10 miles away, or you could try Go Ape, a tree top adventure at Whinlatter Forest, also home to some brilliant cycling trails, 9 miles away. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile. Please be aware that Brigham Holiday Park is a quiet, peaceful park with no facilities, it doesn’t have a shop or children’s play area. Commercial/works vehicles are not permitted on the park and there are no electric car charging facilities.
