Located on the fringe of the Lake District National Park and only 2½ miles from Cockermouth it makes the perfect base for your Cumbrian getaway. The contemporary design and beautiful interior is very appealing and the open plan living room, dining room and kitchen comes well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. With a gas oven and hob and microwave you can cook up a feast after a day of adventure then relax on the comfortable sofas in front of the 43 inch Smart TV. The main bedroom features a kingsize bed and en-suite toilet. The second bedroom has 3ft twin beds. The bathroom features a good sized shower cubicle. Outside is decking and an outdoor seating area to soak up the sunshine and it makes the perfect spot for your morning coffee or a nice glass of chilled wine.
Brigham Holiday Park is a well maintained and peaceful park and offers an excellent base to explore the Northern Lakes, the west coast of Cumbria and you are only 25 minutes’ drive from Keswick.
Just a mile away is Great Broughton with five pubs and a village shop. There is easy access to fantastic walks, beautiful scenery and picturesque landscapes as well as being just a few miles from the vibrant market town of Cockermouth with an abundance of speciality shops, coffee houses, restaurants and attractions. Visit Wordsworth House for a spot of culture, or maybe Jennings Brewery beneath the castle walls, offering tasting tours. Kirkgate Arts provides a cinema and theatre performances. If you love The Lakes you’re in easy reach of Bassenthwaite Lake with stunning scenery and an abundance of wildlife including red squirrels, buzzards and osprey to the east.
Or drive south and you’ll reach Loweswater which connects to Crummock Water and Buttermere, arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Cumbria for breathtaking scenery. Whether you’re looking for rugged adventure or just a peaceful walk taking in the flora and fauna, you have a beautiful area to explore. If you’re looking for family fun a great day out can be had at The Lake District Wildlife Park with over 100 species of animals at Bassenthwaite, 10 miles. Or you could try Go Ape, a tree top adventure at Whinlatter Forest, also home to some brilliant cycling trails, 9 miles. Please be aware that Brigham Holiday Park is a quiet, peaceful park with no facilities, it doesn’t have a shop or children’s play area. Commercial/works vehicles are not permitted on the park and there are no electric car charging facilities
