Todd Fell Barn is an upside-down, semi-deatched barn conversion, located on a working sheep and goat farm, boasting contemporary living to make the most of the views from the first floor. On the ground floor you’ll find two spacious kingsize bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms with underfloor heating, making this property perfect for two couples or small families. The master bedroom features floor-to-ceiling windows and a superb view across the valley. Upstairs you’ll find a spacious kitchen/dining room which is a spacious and social space. The living room has shelves stocked with a wide variety of books, comfortable sofas and a wood burner, providing the ideal space to relax, read, watch TV or maybe enjoy an afternoon snooze after a busy day of exploring.
Located in the south eastern part of the Lake District National Park, just a few miles north of Kendal, you’ll soon feel totally relaxed in this unspoilt part of Cumbria.

As the River Sprint tumbles through the valley of Longsleddale, it provides picturesque scenery and some excellent walking and cycling routes nearby. To the north you’ll find the hamlet of Sadgill where you can follow the trail over Kentmere Pike down to the village of Staveley, home to the famous Hawkshead Brewery and an excellent village pub offering a welcome reward for your efforts. You’re likely to spot plenty of wildlife including buzzards, kestrels, hares, deer and the occasional red squirrel, and it’s the perfect remedy to get away from the fast pace of the 21st century.
Only 6 miles to the south you’ll find Kendal, aptly named the ’gateway to The Lakes’. You’ll be greeted by a busy shopping centre with independent coffee shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, pubs serving local ales, and of course the usual big brands. It boasts four of the major supermarkets if you want to stock up on supplies as well as plenty of sights to keep you busy including art galleries, museums, a climbing wall, dry ski slope and cinema.

An absolute must if you love your food is a visit to the local à la carte restaurant, housed in a 16th-century bolt-hole used by Catherine Parr, legend says it is linked to Kendal Castle via an underground tunnel network. A short drive to the west and you’ll reach Lake Windermere, home to the popular lakeside towns of Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside. From here you can ride on the traditional steamers or take the steam railway line to Haverthwaite, a great day out for all the family. Beach 18¾ miles. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 6 miles.

Todd Fell Barn has an interconnecting door with Todd Fell Cottage (Ref UK10851) and they can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests
