The cottage benefits from elevated views towards Skiddaw and Latrigg to the rear, and to the fells above Braithwaite to the front. Inside the rooms are comfortable and cosy, yet quite spacious, with two living rooms. It is situated on a low hill, surrounded by fields, yet only 1 mile from Keswick town centre and ½ mile from the village of Portinscale. There is a footpath along the river into Keswick, where you will discover a wealth of amenities, or Portinscale is a 15-minute walk and boasts a pub, cafés, restaurant and marina. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
