Howgills Barn is the perfect holiday property for those looking to enjoy a little piece of luxury and tranquility in the midst of the Lune Valley. The picturesque village of Barbon is just 2 miles away and is famous for its local village shop and cafe, which offers an array of local produce and is often a great stop-off for local walkers and cyclists. Barbon borders the quaint town of Kirkby Lonsdale which has an abundance of traditional pubs, fine dining restaurants, charming tea rooms and boutique shops. A visit to the ’Ruskins View’ followed by a delightful river walk to Devils Bridge is a lovely bonus to the town’s attractions.
This is a wonderful base for those wanting to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and the old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale - you really are spoilt for choice of places to visit in this area. So whether you are planning to walk the Three Peaks, take a boat ride around Lake Windermere or even just meander around the shops in Kirkby Lonsdale, returning back to this luxury property after a long day of exploring is certainly needed, and Howgills Barn can definitely offer you this.
