The area is well known for stunning sunsets and is an excellent base to explore the Lake District National Park and Hadrian’s Wall. Nearby is the Solway RSPB bird reserve at Campfield.

Silloth is a Victorian seaside resort with a leisurely and peaceful atmosphere on the Solway Firth, which is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.
