The lodge is situated in a tranquil location with direct access on to the Lakeland Fells with an abundance of walks and wildlife and although it is only 3 miles from Windermere it retains the feeling of peace and tranquility.  On site facilities include a small supermarket, The Haybarn Inn, a traditional Lakeland pub serving meals, a selection of fine ales and a beer garden a games room, adventure playground and launderette. Wi-Fi is also available on the park.
