The Lodge, situated on Oakwood Park Polo Club (home of Sussex County Polo) offers ground-floor self-catering accommodation for four guests.
Overlooking the polo field itself is an open-plan kitchen/diner and living area with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. The French doors lead to a private rear garden- sit back and enjoy some of the action on the field from tournaments to lessons. Those wanting to join in or even bring their own horse, please enquire directly with the owners regarding availability and prices. There are two bedrooms, both with double beds, and a bathroom with shower, toilet and utility area.
Located on the edge of the Ashdown Forest, in the pretty village of Maresfield just a 15-minute walk to the village pub and shop.

Only a 5-minute drive to the Market town of Uckfield where there are numerous pubs, restaurants and takeaways, boutique cinema, an array of shops, supermarkets, and a leisure centre. Enjoy a family day out at nearby Sheffield Park and Gardens, home of the Bluebell Railway, where you can take a steam train ride. Visit Ashdown Forest, home of Winnie the Pooh, with miles of walks and stunning scenic views.
Take a trip down to the Sussex coast where there is a wide choice of beaches at Eastbourne, Saltdean, and Brighton. For days out there are many famous gardens and historic houses including Rudyard Kipling’s home, Batemans; Scotney Castle; Sissinghurst, where Vita Sackville West created her famous garden; Hever Castle, the home of Ann Boleyn; Great Dixter, Christopher Lloyd’s famous garden; Pashley Manor; Sheffield Park; Chartwell, the home of Sir Winston Churchill; Knole; Charlestone; Monk’s House; Herstmonceux Castle; Leeds Castle; and Penshurst Place where Wolf Hall was filmed.
