This lovely, south-facing detached 17th-century farmhouse is set in 1-acre of sheltered gardens, situated on the outskirts of the pretty rural hamlet of Littleham. Enjoy relaxing in the beautiful period dining room with open log fire. Fresh eggs and potatoes are provided, and cream tea is prepared on arrival. Ideal for a family get-together. Good country walking and coastal footpath, and cycle hire locally. Guests are welcome to roam the 220-acre farmstead and observe the seasonal farming activities. Children can collect fresh eggs from the hens in the garden and play on the toys available, including a pedal tractor.
Cattle, calves, farm pony and poultry can be found, and the farm grows its own wheat, barley and potatoes. Just 3 miles from the historic port and market town of Bideford, and just 5½ miles from the seaside and sandy beach at Westward Ho! Fishing villages with beaches within 20 minutes’ drive include Clovelly, Bucks Mill and Instow. Take a boat trip to Lundy, 3 miles, or visit the Rosemoor RHS gardens and Dartington Crystal Glass Factory, 7 miles.
