Characterful barn conversion for four at a farm near Widemouth Bay, with a mezzanine snug, access to a communal picnic area and an easy walk to the beach and coast path.

No smoking. This property has a £150 security deposit.

Set on Higher Widemouth Farm, this roomy barn conversion sleeps up to four and sits just under half a mile from the sea. It is a relaxed choice for couples, friends or a small family keen to spend plenty of time on the coast, with bridlepaths and big Atlantic skies close at hand. After salty days, you can return to a quiet rural setting and settle in for an easy evening.
The main living space is open-plan, so you can cook, eat and put your feet up together after aday outdoors.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, and the sofas make it easy to unwind in the evening. Above the living area, a mezzanine level creates a quiet corner for board games or a good book, looking down over the room below. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, along with a contemporary shower room featuring a rainfall shower. A cot and highchair can be provided, if requested at the time of booking.
Outside, you have a small privatesitting area at the base of the steps, plus shared use of a generous picnic area with benches, space for barbecues and views across the valley.

Follow the nearby bridlepath down to the wide sands of Widemouth Bay for surfing, swimming and rock-pooling. A welcoming local pub serving good food is around 500 yards away, and the South West Coast Path offers glorious walks and sunsets. For shops, cafés and a change of scene, the seaside town of Bude is around four miles away
