Follow the Aquaduct Trail to Tamar Lakes, also 3 miles away, to enjoy the watersports, coarse fishing, café and wildlife reserve. The popular resort of Bude is only 5 miles away and has glorious beaches and town amenities, along with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Golf, horse riding, surfing, bowling, indoor ‘Splash’ pool, fishing and mountain boarding are all on offer here and the internationally acclaimed annual jazz festival is not to be missed.
Cycle the Camel and Tarka Trails, or take in the rugged beauty of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. The pretty fishing villages of Port Isaac, Tintagle and Clovelly are close by and for family fun there are two adventure parks for children all within 20 miles.
