There are three barn conversions and a cottage, and every property combines modern living and style with traditional features. Open plan designs and stylish decors make it easy to unwind, while features such as exposed wooden beams and vaulted ceilings add a little character.

A beautiful period barn conversion converted to be the perfect balance of traditional features with a modern twist. The Smithy has retained many original features including original beamed, vaulted ceilings with galleried features. With high quality furnishings and everything you could need The Smithy is a luxurious home from home.
Park Mill Farm cottages are situated in a magical riverside setting, less than a mile from Chulmleigh centre, with 20 acres of lush fields, woods and parkland where you are free to roam along with the abundant wildlife. From the viewing area on top of the hill with bench, to the river and lakeside areas, there is plenty to explore.

Chulmleigh is a Saxon hilltop village made up of thatched cottages, traditional pubs and a small collection of independent shops. There is a children’s play park and dining options consist of three pubs in the town, a cosmopolitan restaurant and an Indian restaurant/takeaway.

Chulmleigh town centre is now a conservation area and the rich grassland found here is home to the largest population of otters in any natural area in England. The area provides access to an abundance of leisure activities including walking, cycling, fishing, golf and horse riding along with a number of historic houses and gardens in the vicinity.

Guests can enjoy the best of coast and country with Dartmoor and Exmoor nearby, as well as the North Devon coast in one direction and the cathedral city of Exeter in the other, all within an hour’s drive.

Just a short drive away from Park Mill Farm cottages, you can experience the range of luxurious facilities on offer at Highbullen Golf and Country Club including tennis courts, a pool, fitness suite, and a range of spa treatments if you fancy being pampered.

Fishing at Park Mill Farm - "This is an accommodating little river in a lovely Devon valley where time really does seem to stand still. " Mike Weaver, Trout And Salmon magazine, Feb. 2009.

There are two rivers (The Little Dart and Huntacott) meandering through the grounds and a private fishing lake where guests can enjoy free fly and coarse fishing and catch carp, rudd, chubb, roach, brown trout and tench. There is also complimentary fishing on both rivers where brown trout, sea trout and salmon can be caught together with coarse fish.

The Smithy can be booked together with Cider Barn (BCPMCIDE), Old Dairy (BCPMDAIR) and Park Mill Farm Cottage (BCPMFARM) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
