The village of Washford is under a mile away with its lovely local inn.

While in Minehead, why not jump on the West Somerset Steam Railway which weaves its way along the north Somerset coast through to the countryside town of Bishops Lydeard? Exmoor is within easy reach with its quaint hamlets and villages, miles of moors and wild ponies or head into the county town of Taunton for some shopping, food or catch a game of cricket at the county ground!
