Dartmoor is a short car ride, take a trip and walk the Tors, see the ponies and stop in one of the many cafés for a fabulous Devon cream tea. For the more energetic, there is Go Ape at Haldon, or for keen cyclists there is an amazing cycle path through the Haldon Forest, all off road.

Take a trip to the seaside, visit Teignmouth or Shaldon, both having sandy beaches. There are lots of National Trust properties to visit. Torquay has lots to offer visitors including Kent’s Cavern, Living Coasts, theatre and boat trips to Brixham.
