Lyndale is a detached holiday home with sea views over the bay towards Newlyn with a pretty lawn and flower bordered front garden and a small enclosed rear patio and lawn. The house is ideally located just yards from the wide flat promenade which runs from the fishing harbour at Newlyn to Penzance town and marina. This is a great location for exploring west Cornwall and the nearby fishing harbours of Newlyn and the picturesque village of Mousehole. The mainline railway station, direct into Penzance is just a five minute taxi ride away making the property accessible by public transport. St Michael’s Mount dominates the bay and overlooks the wide, sweeping, white sandy beaches of Mounts Bay. Maritime history, pirates and tales of mermaids surround the area and the town offers great shops, pubs, cafés and art galleries, including the famous Newlyn Art Gallery. Just a short drive away and visitors can be surfing at Whitesand Bay at Sennen Cove, exploring the legendary Lands End, taking in a breath taking performance at the Minack Open Air Theatre, with the ocean as a back drop, or out on the wild moorlands and scenic coastal drive that runs between Pendeen, Cape Cornwall and St Ives. The areas mining history now has World Heritage status and the area is used extensively for the filming of the TV series, Poldark. The area attracts walkers, cyclists, surfers, kayaking enthusiasts, horse riders, golfers and gardeners throughout the year.

Enjoy the open air, sea water swimming pool on the promenade in Penzance, experience a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by ferry from Penzance or by air from the nearby Lands End airport or take the scenic coastal train from St Erth into St Ives, passing the wide estuary at Hayle.
