For a captivating excursion, the seafaring town of Fowey can be reached by a ferry trip across the scenic River Fowey. A foot passenger ferry departs from Polruan, or a car ferry departs from Bodinnick. Once home to the renowned author Daphne Du Maurier, Fowey is steeped in history and hosts a royal sailing regatta. Its narrow streets are adorned with intriguing shops, galleries, and cafés, offering an excellent day out for the entire family. Adventurous guests can embark on a charter boat for the opportunity to spot dolphins and seals.
Venture a little further to explore the renowned Eden Project, the bustling fishing town of Mevagissey, and the captivating Lost Gardens of Heligan.
