As the centre of the North Devon surf scene, Braunton is also home to the brillant Museum of British Surfing.
The cottage is also just 7 minute’s drive from the fabulous Saunton Sands, a massive expanse of sandy beach with plentiful sand dunes behind it, one of the biggest dune systems in the UK, and known as Braunton Burrows. Walkers love it and it is great for dogs too. Saunton Golf Club is just a 5-minute drive away, and the Tarka Trail is within easy reach, perfect for cyclists and walkers.
Further afield, enjoy walking on Exmoor, visit Lynton and Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, RHS Rosemoor, and Clovelly, and if you have little ones, there is the Big Sheep and the Milky Way within a 20-minute drive.
