Set within the grounds of The Ibberton, this characterful holiday retreat combines the adventure of glamping with comfortable facilities and the added bonus of a wonderful country pub just a few steps away.
Sleeping up to four guests, the spacious yurt has one double bed and two single beds, making it perfect for couples, families or a small group of friends looking for something a little different. Outside, a covered kitchen area provides a sheltered space for preparing breakfast, drinks and simple meals while enjoyingthe fresh country air.

Guests also have their own separate indoor shower room and toilet, giving you the freedom of camping without sacrificing those all-important home comforts.
The Ibberton itself is a charming 16th-century Dorset inn, complete with flagstone floors, original beams and an inglenook fireplace. Known for its excellent homemade food, the pub serves seasonal dishes using local produce, alongside local ales, Dorset cider and a well-stocked bar. After a day exploring, there’s no need to travel far for a memorable supper or relaxing drink.
For walkers and cyclists, the location is hard to beat. Beautiful countryside begins almost at the door, with footpaths and quiet country lanes leading through the surrounding Blackmore Vale and towards Bulbarrow and Ibberton Hill.

The Wessex Ridgeway passes close by, while cyclists can enjoy miles of peaceful lanes, rolling hills and picturesque Dorset villages.
Further afield, explore Sturminster Newton and the North Dorset Trailway, visit historic Sherborne and its magnificent Abbey, or discover Shaftesbury and famous Gold Hill. Blandford Forum and Dorchester are also within easy reach, while a day trip takes you south to Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic Coast.
