Woodvale Loft is a very well-presented studio loft situated adjacent to the owners’ home and is tucked away in the Somerset countryside just a few miles from the market town of Wiveliscombe. It is perfect as a peaceful couple’s retreat or those seeking adventurous walks. The property comprises open plan accommodation with each section partially sub-divided, including a kitchenette with a combination microwave/oven, 2-ring hob, a breakfast bar, seating area, a bedroom with a kingsize bed and a shower room with additional seating. Outside you will find parking for one car and a seating/dining area which is shared with the owners although they are unlikely to use it in the evenings during your stay.


The location makes a wonderful base from which to explore this stunning region. There is an abundance of attractions including the West Somerset Steam Railway at Bishops Lydeard, the Museum of Somerset in Taunton, just 10 miles away, Dunster, Minehead, and beautiful Exmoor National Park with its magical night skies in Europe’s first ’Dark Sky Reserve’, just 20 minutes away. There are numerous National Trust properties including Dunster Castle, Fyne Court, Coleridge Cottage, Montacute and Knightshayes. You can also enjoy fantastic country pubs in the region and the town of Wiveliscombe is under 2 miles away, where you’ll find shops, post office, restaurants, pubs and banking facilities.


Two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty are also within easy reach - The Quantock Hills to the north and Blackdown Hills to the south. If you fancy a day trip to a beautiful city steeped in history, then Exeter can be reached along the M5 in just 40 minutes. For surfers, the stunning North Devon coastline is just about an hour or so away where you’ll find some of the best beaches in the country. Beach 13 miles.
