Equidistant from the north Somerset coast, with sandy beaches, and the beautiful Dorset coast, with its Jurassic coastline and pretty bays. Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat, the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Clark’s Village are nearby, as are the abbey towns of Sherborne (with its two castles), Glastonbury and Wells.
