Over 200 years old, these former farm buildings are steeped in history, and were once home to the German prisoners of war during World War ll, Copper House being their main residence. Lovingly converted and nestled adjacent to the owner’s home, with 10 acres of grassed paddock and nature walks where visitors may glimpse sight of owls and badgers and enjoy the abundance of wildlife and countryside views, whilst children have lots of space to play. This perfect holiday location has something for all the family, and has an enclosed area with horses. An ideal holiday location for exploring the East Yorkshire Coast with miles of award-winning beaches, all within 5 miles.
The RSPB sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, is just 1. 5 miles away, where you can take in super views across to Flamborough Head whilst spotting the many rare bird species safely nesting. Scattered across the East Yorkire Coast are many quaint villages with shops and inns in abundance. A 20-mile drive brings you to the North York Moors National Park, and the village of Goathland, better know as Aidensfield (Heartbeat’s very own village). Historic houses nearby include Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall.
Bridlington with sandy beaches, fun fair and indoor swimming pool is 10-minute drive. Scarborough with theatres, restaurants, shops and sandy beaches is a 20-minute drive. Pony trekking and golf locally. Art classes available at extra cost. Beach 2 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
