Surrounded by a stunning backdrop of hills, the walking is superb straight from the door, with strenuous walks up the hills, or gentle strolls along the River Wharfe. The small garden has a terrace with garden furniture, and beautiful views over the Wharfedale hills and stone walls. The nearby river is an ideal place for picnics in summer. Grassington is a short drive away, with its winter Dickensian Festival as well as the 15-day summer Grassington Festival.

The market town of Skipton, voted as one of the top 10 places to live (Sunday Times 2016), is approximately 16 miles away.
