Situated not far from the pretty village green in the picturesque village of West Burton in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Entering from the rear of the cottage from the private patio, with two steps into a light-filled kitchen, with stylish shaker style units and a full range of appliances. The first floor has a comfortably furnished bedroom, with a double bed and window seat to gaze out at the lovely views beyond. For your convenience there is an en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, tiled floor, heated towel rail and stylish backlit mirror. Externally is a lovely private patio area with garden furniture, a perfect spot for al fresco dining in the summer. A short stroll along Back Nook takes you right onto the village green. The village pub is less than 100 yards away, and serves local ales and a selection of food. Explore a little further afield and you will come across the beautiful waterfall at Cauldron Falls, take a picnic and sit on one of the wooden benches by the river.
There is a variety of things to see and do in the area, with picturesque villages and historic castles, fabulous waterfalls and beautiful countryside. For the outdoor enthusiast you will be spoilt for choice with many interesting walks right from the door. Cycling is extremely popular in the Yorkshire Dales and there are numerous cycle trails to follow. The bustling market town of Leyburn is about a 20-minute drive away and has a host of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and famous auction rooms for you to browse.
