With views towards the gentle undulating hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, this beautifully presented country cottage provides a peaceful base from which to explore the surrounding area. Relatively undiscovered, this corner of Yorkshire has provided inspiration for the famous Hockney paintings and local artist Robert Fuller, who has an interesting gallery in nearby Thixendale. Ideal for couples and families, the cottage enjoys an open plan living area and a spacious enclosed patio.

There are numerous walks and cycle trails locally, and for convenience, a bike store is available at the property. The neighbouring village of Rillington has a useful range of facilities with two pubs, fish and chip shop, general store and a post office, and there is a farmhouse bakery and a coffee shop in nearby Scampston, 2 miles.

Visit the market towns of Malton and Pickering, and enjoy ascenic trip aboard the North York Moors steam train.
