Living/dining room: With gas wood burner, Freeview TV and single sofa bed.
Kitchen: With range with gas oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed and Freeview TV.
Bedroom 2: With single bed.

Extra Amenities

Beautifully furnished throughout, this characterful 18th-century stone cottage was once part of the village Methodist Chapel. You are in the heart of the village, with a family friendly pub nearby as well as a quaint village shop, where you can get groceries as well as home made cakes. From here you can walk down into neighbouring Robin Hood’s Bay, where the cottages around the cliff edge spill down to the sea. At low tide you have a sandy beach as well as rock pools to explore.

Stepping inside this pretty cottage you have the cosy lounge with comfortable seating around the feature fireplace which houses a gas stove, ideal for cosy nights in after a busy day exploring the nearby coves and beaches. There is a dining table in the window where you can enjoy meals together, or even enjoy a games night revelling in each other’s company.

The kitchen is separate, is well equipped and has an authentic country feel complete with a range oven. Downstairs is complete with a family bathroom. On the first floor is the master double bedroom with a TV and feature fireplace, as well as a single bedroom. There is a sofa bed in the living room for an additional guest. To the rear of the property is an enclosed private garden, where you can relax in the sunshine on the lawn. This is a pet friendly property and the garden is ideal. Stretch out and sunbathe and unwind with a glass of something special, toasting to a fabulous break away.

Conveniently situated just around the corner from the village pub which is the heart of Fylingthorpe, welcoming visitors with hearty meals as well as a spacious beer garden complete with a play area. The charming corner shop is also just yards away.

This location is incredibly beautiful, with whimsical villages and towns surrounding you, where you can easily feel like you are stepping back in time. For days out there are many walking and cycle trails throughout the national park as well as along the coastline.

Robin Hood’s Bay is a must and is within walking distance taking 15-20 minutes to walk down into the heart of this fascinating village, with cobbled streets and little fishermens’ cottages leading down to the beach. Further along the coast you will find Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Saltburn to the North and Ravenscar, Scarborough and Filey to the south. For children there is Flamingoland theme park, as well as Alpamare Waterpark less than a 45-minute drive away. There is so much to see and do in the area you are sure to find something to delight everyone.
