You can park for free outside the house and enjoy the welcoming space inside. There is an open plan living area with a corner sofa in the lounge and an archway through to the dining room with a table large enough for everyone to enjoy meals together, as well as a well-equipped modern kitchen complete with a breakfast bar.

Designed for relaxing and socialising, the ground floor is the space in which you can all get together to chat, watch the TV or gather for meals. Sleeping up to eight guests, there are four bedrooms over two floors, two kingsize bedrooms and two twin rooms. In the family bathroom you have both a shower as well as a bath, so you have the option of both.

As a base, you have everything close by with many restaurants, shops and bars within easy reach. A short stroll will lead you to the North Bay beach, with the Sea Life Centre at the far end of the peaceful bay. The South Bay is vibrant with all the seaside attractions such as the rides and arcades as well as an array of shops, bars and seafood restaurants. Peasholm Park is a ten minutes’ walk away, where you can enjoy the lakes and oriental gardens, or have a go on the pedalos or rowing boats.

You can even watch the brass bands that play throughout the summer. Beside the park you have the largest Open-Air Theatre in Europe, where you can see famous acts entertaining throughout the summer. Also, Alpamare water park with spa is great fun for children on the slides and in the wave pool, as well as welcoming adults on a relaxing spa day with views out to sea. Close by, you will find the coastal towns and villages of Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Flamborough Head and Filey, all fabulous for a day out.
