Riverside Retreat is a beautiful and spacious two-bedroom apartment at Whitehall Landing, a modern development beside Whitby’s picturesque upper harbour. Once home to the town’s historic shipbuilding docks, this peaceful waterside setting offers fabulous views across the harbour, where you can watch boats glide past and spot local wildlife. During the summer months, you may also see the heritage steam train making its memorable journey into Whitby on the opposite side of the water.
Secure undercroft parking provides added convenience, while a lift offers easy access to the apartment on the second floor. Families are especially well catered for, with a small play area within the development and opportunities for children to try crabbing along the harbour at high tide.

Inside, the apartment is bright, welcoming and thoughtfully furnished. Large windows fill the living area with natural light and frame those wonderful harbour views, while comfortable sofas provide the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals, and the central dining table creates a sociable setting for gathering together in the evenings.

Explore the cobbled streets, independent shops and atmospheric yards before climbing the famous 199 Steps to St Mary’s Church and the dramatic ruins of Whitby Abbey. Tate Hill Beach, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the bustling harbour are also within easy reach.
