This town has it all, a glorious golden beach, a bustling harbour as well as the iconic abbey. Here you can take in the beautiful scenery and experience the hospitality of this quaint seafaring town, with a host of attractions as well as many independent shops and cafés. This apartment is the perfect base, with views across the marina. This is an ideal spot for nature lovers, with herons, seals and even a kingfisher, all residents of the riverbank. You can also see the heritage steam train from the windows as it chuffs its way to the station, taking guests on a scenic journey from the coast across the moorland of the surrounding National Park.
The apartment is lift served and all on one level inside, with the benefit of parking in a designated bay, which is highly sought after in such a popular destination. Inside you are welcomed by beautiful tasteful decor throughout.

The living area is open plan, boasting large glass windows so that you can take in the delightful views. There is a large corner sofa where you can take in the scenery as well as watch TV. It is a sofa bed so it can be used for an additional guest on request. With a dining table for the family to enjoy home cooked meals, or takeaways together – you cannot visit Whitby without sampling the fish and chips! The kitchen is well equipped, with everything you could wish for on a self-catering stay. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a double bunk bed with a single bed on the top – which can sleep up to three guests.
These beautifully presented rooms are ready to welcome you to a deep night’s sleep after a busy day exploring. The apartment is complete with a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

For young families there is a small play area on site, or at high tide you can even go crabbing along the riverbank. The town is immensely proud of its seafaring heritage, with legends of Vikings, smugglers, and heroic lifeboat rescues. You can savour the freshly caught fish and seafood in a selection of award-winning restaurants.
You will be spoilt for choice with the upmarket harbour-front dining, of lobster or mussels, as well as the local favourite - battered cod or haddock with chips. You can also hop on board a boat out of the harbour, for a day trip bouncing over the waves of the bracing North Sea. Take in the fresh sea air with a walk down the pier, watch the sunset and see what inspires so many photographers, artists and writers. There’s something about Whitby that fills your soul - the views, the atmosphere, the history and the heritage.
