With an enviable position opposite the historic city walls and with stunning views of York Minster, this one bedroom ground floor apartment is within a 300 year old town house, just a stone’s throw from the city centre and the perfect choice to enjoy a city break. Step outside and this wonderful city is there for your enjoyment. Upon entering the property there is a York stone flag entrance hall. The entrance to the apartment is to the left and takes you straight into the living/dining room which provides lovely views across to York Minster. To the rear of the property is a galley style kitchen with Velux windows and with a wet room behind. Across the hall is the double bedroom with French doors leading to the outside patio, which is a welcome addition to this city centre property, providing an area to enjoy an afternoon drink whilst planning the next day’s activities or the opportunity to dine al fresco.


With access to over 2 miles of York’s medieval city walls, a maze of snickelways and ginnels, world renowned attractions and a plethora of great shops, cafés and restaurants only a short stroll from the front door, you won’t be able to wait to explore this wonderful city. York is fast gaining a reputation as one of the UK’s foodie capitals and you can find some seriously great food, and even better tipples brewed within the city. Why not take a break from walking around the city and see the view from one of the open top tour buses or sail slowly along the River Ouse on a cruise boat.

Whether your interest is in the large trains on display at the National Railway Museum, the history of the chocolate industry in York at York’s Chocolate Story or of marauding Vikings and invading Romans, York has something for everyone.
