Lovingly renovated throughout by the owners, The Green is a beautiful stone-built cottage dating back to the early 1900’s and is perfectly situated on the outskirts of the medieval city of York. This property oozes charm and style, where guests can fully immerse themselves in comfort. The Green offers both friends and families a holiday retreat and acts as a fantastic base to explore this wonderful area.
The property boasts three good-sized bedrooms; the master bedroom is located on the first floor and offers en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have fresh cotton linen guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. With The Green located less than 2 miles outside of York and on a main bus route, you have quick access to one of the most visited cities outside of London, which is popular throughout the whole year with numerous festivals and magical Christmas markets. You have many attractions to visit including the iconic Minster, Railway Museum and Clifford’s Tower; admire the beautiful architecture at the Merchant Adventurers Hall, or step back in time at the Jorvik Centre and the Castle Museum.

Stroll along the cobbles down the world-famous Shambles or take one of the terrifying night-time ghost walks which are a must.
