This Tudor terraced house is the oldest property in Easingwold dating back to the 16th century and despite many renovations over the years has retained most of its original features with inglenook fireplaces, one with a wood burner, in each living room, beams everywhere you look and wattle and daub in one of the bedrooms. The master bedroom retains the Elizabethan smoke hood from the inglenook below which makes an unusual yet stunning feature in the room. Yet with all this history on hand, the historical features are complemented by the modern comforts expected in a holiday home. On entering the property via the rear garden the modern extension houses the large dining room which will comfortably seat eight persons, and with the large kitchen just next door, this is the perfect area to relax and socialize with friends and family after a long day exploring the local area.

Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with en-suite, patio doors to the garden, and two living rooms. The rest of the bedrooms and house bathroom are on the first floor and offer a mixture of twin and double accommodation with the master having a small en-suite shower.
Easingwold is one of Yorkshire’s finest market towns with the historic cobbled market square at its centre. Offering independent shops and a host of tea rooms and eateries within walking distance of the property.

Only a 10-minute drive away is the small town of Thirsk gateway to the Dales and home to the James Herriot Museum. Tudor House is the ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Dales and visit the historic towns of York, Helmsley, and Harrogate, famous for its spa and beautiful valley gardens. The North York Moors and the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough are also within travelling distance and there are excellent walking opportunities with miles of public paths and bridleways on the doorstep, with panoramic views from Sutton Bank and the White Horse at Kilburn. Tudor House offers a wide choice of activities for all the family to enjoy. Shop, pub, and restaurant 300 yard
