The Norfolk and Suffolk coasts can also be reached in just over an hour’s drive. There is an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area and contemporary furnishings throughout the property and it is fully equipped with everything needed for your perfect break away.

The garden wraps around the property and has a patio area with outdoor furniture perfect for al-fresco dining. Thetford Forest is a short drive away and encompasses some 47,000 acres of forestry. Here you’ll find great walks, cycle routes and nature trails to explore.

It is also home to High Lodge and Go Ape. Take the time to visit the picturesque town of Bury St Edmunds with its famous abbey and great places to eat, drink and shop. The town also hosts a popular Christmas market in early December. National Trust properties nearby include Ickworth Park, Oxburgh Hall and Anglesey Abbey and Gardens. Newmarket is perfect for an exciting day at the races. The historical university city of Cambridge, and Ely with its 12th century cathedral are both worth a visit. Golf is available locally.
