This bright and modern holiday accommodation, set in the heart of rural Cambridgeshire, caters for those looking to have a peaceful break away from the stresses of everyday life with village amenities just a short distance away. The property has an open-plan kitchen/dining/living area and contemporary furnishings and the space is equipped with everything needed for your perfect break away. On the ground floor the property comprises an entrance hall, open-plan living/kitchen/dining room, a shower room and a double bedroom, there is also a coat cupboard. Upstairs is a large double bedroom and an en-suite shower room. The garden is to the front of the property and has a patio area with outdoor furniture (on request in winter) for al fresco dining.
From the property you can explore a range of footpaths and bridleways, several of which form part of the Ouse Valley Way and others offering short cuts through the villages so you can enjoy the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside.

Houghton village centre is just 17 minutes’ walk and the closest public house is 7 minutes’ walk away. Houghton and Wyton are served by a village shop & Post Office, tea rooms, antiques shop and a gallery. National Trust owned Houghton Mill is an 18th century water mill and is well worth a visit. When the mill is running, you can get a real insight into how this fascinating historic building operated. As well as walks around the grounds, canoeing, cycling and a tearoom are also available.
The attractive and historic market town of St Ives, which sits on the river Great Ouse, is just 2.5 miles away, and has lots of eateries, shops and interesting places to visit.

You can also catch a bus from St Ives via The Guided Bus Route to Cambridge where you will find lots more to explore including the famous colleges, the Fitzwilliam Museum, the botanical gardens and of course, one of the most popular things to do in Cambridge is to "punt" along the River Cam, which runs through the heart of the city. Other places to visit include Hinchingbrooke Country Park, Grafham Water, The Cromwell Museum, Buckden Towers and Hamerton Zoo Park.
