For fishing and birdwatching enthusiasts there is a 14-acre lake as well as a network of footpaths round the park to explore, and if you don’t want to cook in the evening there is even an excellent restaurant within walking distance. Deer Park Lookout is close to the owners’ 18th century farmhouse, and is only 2 miles from Roughton village shop and Gunton’s railway station, and 6 miles from Cromer’s seaside attractions. The National Trusts Blickling and Felbrigg Halls are nearby and the Broads are easily accessible. Shop 2 miles, The Gunton Arms pub with restaurant within walking distance.
