Within 20-minute drive; the city of Norwich for excellent shopping, a theatre, a castle museum, a cathedral, fine restaurants, cafés and bars. Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park, offers river trips and daily boat hire to explore the expanse of waterways. A 50 minutes drive leads to the Heritage North Norfolk coast for sandy beaches, extensive salt marshes, RSPB reserves and the coastal path for excellent walking.

Enjoy a boat trip to visit the basking seals and Blakeney Point nature reserve. Stately homes and parks include Sheringham NT, Holkham, Felbrigg, and Blickling Hall, regarded as the finest in East Anglia. The Royal Sandringham Estate and Museum is open to the public when the Royals are not in residence. Coastal resorts of Cromer and Sheringham offer an array of attractions for all ages, and plenty of shops and restaurants.
Succulent fresh lobsters and crabs are brought back to be sold. The promenade, pier with seasonal live entertainment and the Royal Life Boat Centre can all be found at Cromer.
