Chobbs Barn is a delightful self catering cottage nestled in the garden grounds of Camomile Cottage which is a renowned 4 Star Silver bed and breakfast. The area is easily accessible, only an hour and a half from central London and the Eurotunnel and offers wonderful countryside hospitality in many good restaurants and pubs. Set on a quiet tree lined private lane the barn is surrounded by corn fields - hence its name - just on the outskirts of the peaceful village of Eye.
The village is well served with a local supermarket, butcher, post office, newsagent and delicatessen for all your supplies.
Eye sits on the river Dove and has some lovely antique shops to explore plus the ruins of a small but ancient castle. There is an impressive church along with the guildhall. Being situated on the Suffolk/Norfolk border there are a whole host of historic East Anglian towns all with easy driving distance. Clare, Lavenham, Framlingham, Cavendish, Southwold, Bury St.
Edmunds, Norwich, Walberswick, Southwold, and Aldeburgh are all worth a visit not to mention the stunning city of Cambridge which is just over an hour away. This area is classic Constable country and art lovers can visit Denham Vale and for those who fancy a flutter at the races Newmarket is only 40 minutes.
Chobbs Barn offers seclusion and privacy with an acre of garden grounds and is thus a perfect escape
This beautiful cottage has been furnished to an extremely high standard and is both stylish and contemporary to ensure maximum comfort during your stay. You may choose to relax on the large leather sofa in front of the 37inch TV or else if you wanted to cook the kitchen is very well equipped and complete with some complimentary goodies when you arrive. In the summer you can slide back the large glass patio doors and enjoy the sunlight as it shines through the leaves of the walnut tree outside. As the days get cooler you can be assured that you will be warm and snug with the underfloor heating.
There is a large and comfortable kingsized four poster bed in the bedroom with a pocket sprung mattress, goose feather duvet, crisp Egyptian cotton sheets and plenty of cushions. The ensuite wetroom is beautifully decorated and fitted with the latest Aqualisa power shower. Complimentary toiletries and fluffy white towels are provided.
Views of the surrounding garden can be seen from the windows and you may even spot the resident chicken who tends the garden.
Heating and electricity are included in the rental price and both bed line and towels are provided.
