Head inside and you will find there is plenty of room to prepare your culinary delights with the range oven. Your pet dogs are very welcome, with plenty of local walks and dog friendly inns to enjoy nearby. Oak Cottage is situated in the pretty village of Stoke Ash, with a traditional 17th-century coaching inn and a village green. You’ll be sure to love the local inns, and there is even a vegetarian friendly pub nearby too. Walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the door, and you can even hire bicycles direct from the owner.

Head into the village and visit River Dove to play an old fashioned game of Pooh Sticks. Within 4 miles you will find the market town of Eye, with a lovely selection of boutique shops including a chocolatier offering heavenly handmade Suffolk chocolate. If retail therapy is more your thing, the medieval city of Norwich is a 30-minute drive away, where you’ll be in heaven at this perfect shopping destination with plenty of culture too.
