Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. The property is dog friendly and outside you will find a useful outdoor hose for washing muddy paws and boots. There is also an enclosed courtyard with seating for everyone Within a few minutes walk of Florence Cottage you will find a host of useful places, including a bakery, chip shop, Indian restaurant, bike hire shop, a small supermarket and local village pubs. You will also find some lovely places to visit in the village of Heacham, from the North and South beach and Norfolk Lavender visitors centre, with a beautiful gift shop, farm shop and café, to Farmer Fred’s, a great indoor play barn perfect for the little ones.
Venturing out, you will discover pretty coastal villages and towns. The popular beach resort of Hunstanton is just 3 miles away and is home to shops, tea rooms, restaurants, amusement arcades, a fun fair and Sea Life Centre. The RSPB reserves at Titchwell, 9 miles, and Snettisham, 3 miles, are popular destinations for anyone interested in birds and nature. Visit King’s Lynn, 14 miles, for the magnificent Custom House, stroll through ‘The Walks’ or take a trip to Trues Yard Fisherfolk Museum. Snettisham Park, 3 miles, is a working farm with lots of animals to see, a large outdoor play area for the kids and a deer safari where you can get up close and feed the deer.
