The beach is accessed via concrete steps, but there is an alternative access, opposite the pub. Set on an award winning 27-mile stretch of coastline where you will find sun bathing and sea bathing opportunities galore in summer and lovely walks and photography opportunities off season too.
Head into Norfolk and discover Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile, with a host of seaside attractions including a large funfair.

Thrill seekers are sure to enjoy Pleasurewood Hills, East Anglia’s only theme park. You can be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in under 45 minutes, or alternatively take a tiger walk amongst the trees at Thrigby Wildlife Gardens, or indulge your wild side at Africa Alive. Here you are just 8 miles from beautiful Southwold with its great mix of artisan cafés, shops and pretty painted beach huts. We have recently had installed a split air conditioning unit which blows warm air for the winter months and cooler air for the hot summer months all controlled by a remote.
