Set within pretty Norfolk countryside and boasting a hot tub and a wood burner, Squirrel Barn is the perfect retreat for those looking for a romantic bolthole which is tucked away enough for a relaxing stay but also great for exploring the area.
Equidistant between the Norfolk Broads and the beautiful North Norfolk, coastline you can be in the heart of either in just under 30 minutes. Visit Wells-next-the-Sea with its picturesque quay, and head east or west from here for a string of pretty coastal villages and towns with a variety of habitats including marshes, quays and wide sandy beaches.

Go east for a spot of crabbing at Blakeney or a visit to Cromer Pier, or west for bracing Brancaster Beach or all the fun of the fair at Hunstanton.
Head to Wroxham, the gateway to the Broads, where you can hire a day boat or join a tour and drift along these famous waterways.

With National Trust properties, historical attractions such as the Thursford and Muckleburough Collections, a zoo and lots of museums within easy reach, you will be spoilt for choice. Or, given how lovely Squirrel Barn is, you may just decide to stay put and snuggle by the fire or watch the stars from the private hot tub. Beach 18 miles. Shop, restaurant and pub 1 mile.
